Alexandria port tops the most exporting ports of Egyptian goods with two billion dollars last March

Alexandria port topped the list of the most registered ports for Egyptian exports last March, according to the data of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics. The total value of Egyptian exports that exited through it amounted to about two billion and 174 million dollars, while it was one billion and 98 million dollars in March 2021. An increase of one billion and 76 million dollars.

The foreign trade data issued by the agency said that the list of ports also included, respectively, the port of Suez, which witnessed exports worth one billion and 148 million dollars last March, compared to 940 million and 82 thousand dollars in the same month in 2021, an increase of 208 million and 875 thousand dollars, followed by Egyptian airports valued at 750 million and 18 thousand dollars last March, compared to 567 million and 786 thousand dollars in the same month in 2021, an increase of 182 million and 232 thousand dollars.

The list also included Egyptian exports from Dekheila port, with an export value of 273 million and 455 thousand dollars last March, while it was 245 million and 58 thousand dollars in the same month in 2021, an increase of 28 million and 397 thousand dollars, then Port Said port with a value of 157 million and 289 thousand dollars, compared to 117 million and 260 thousand dollars during the comparison period, an increase of 40 million and 29 thousand dollars.
