The Lebanese Ministry of the Interior allocates 80 thousand personnel to secure the elections

The Lebanese Interior Minister, Bassam Mawlawi, announced that the security services are ready to secure the elections, and 80,000 personnel have been allocated to protect the electoral process, pointing out that the results will be announced as soon as possible.

Mawlawi stressed that “the vote is a duty and a right, and the boycott does not benefit Lebanon or benefit any party or any party,” calling on the Lebanese not to boycott and to participate massively.

He pointed out that “Arabism is Lebanon’s identity, and the Arab countries stand with Lebanon and not with any sect.”

103 electoral lists comprising 718 candidates distributed over 15 electoral districts are competing in the legislative elections, which take place every 4 years, to choose 128 deputies in Parliament.
