Source: Al-Ahly will not withdraw from the Champions League final and will resort to the Sports Court

A source in Al-Ahly Club revealed that the Red Genie will not withdraw from the final match of the African Champions League after the decision of CAF to hold it in Morocco. The match, even if it is finally decided to hold it in Morocco, but we will preserve the rights of the club by filing a complaint with the Sports Court and studying the matter legally in consultation between the board of directors and the football company.

The Al-Ahly club’s board of directors will hold an emergency meeting this afternoon, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and in the presence of the Al-Ahly Football Company’s board of directors, to discuss and follow-up all matters related to the crisis of the final match of the African Champions League, after the unfair decision issued late by the Confederation of African Football to assign the organization of the match. The final for a particular stadium for the second year in a row, and one party to the final match was given the opportunity to play at home and among its fans at the expense of the other party.

In its meeting, the Council reviews all the administrative and legal steps that have been taken during the past few days. He takes decisions that preserve the literary and artistic rights of the club.
