Ferreira shows the red eye for the Zamalek players before facing Al-Tala’i

Portuguese coach Josefaldo Ferreira, Zamalek coach, showed the red eye to his team players before the match against Tala’a El-Jaish scheduled for next Tuesday evening, in the nineteenth round of the Premier League competition.

Ferreira warned his players against repeating the scenario of facing Enppi, which the white knight lost with a double, and Zamalek did not succeed in opening the second round matches by achieving a valuable victory at home at Cairo Stadium, where he received his third loss this season, after his defeat by Al-Ahly 3-5 and Smouha 0-2.

The loss of Zamalek represents a valuable gift for Al-Ahly and Pyramids, the direct competitors of the white team, at the top of the Egyptian league standings this season.

Despite the loss, Zamalek remained at the top of the Egyptian league standings with 41 points, 3 points ahead of Pyramids, who played a lesser match and could, if they win, snatch the lead.

While Al-Ahly, the historical champion of the competition, occupies third place in the Egyptian league table with 33 points, but it has 4 postponed matches that, if won, it can move away from the lead by 4 points against Zamalek.
