Al-Ahly team arrived at Algiers airport in the Algerian capital, in preparation for the boarding of the private plane that will take them on the way back to Cairo, after completing its match against ES Setif in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly qualified for the final of the African Champions League after beating ES Setif 6/2 on aggregate in the first two matches, after winning the first leg 4-0, before equalizing in the second leg with two goals for each team.
Al-Ahly qualified for the African final for the third time in a row and the fifteenth in its history.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahly holds the record for the most club winning the African Champions League title for the tenth cup in its history and is a step away from crowning the eleventh African star.
Musimani contributed to Al-Ahly winning the African Champions League title in the last two editions, the first at the expense of Zamalek in the 2020 edition, and the second at the expense of South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs in the 2021 edition.
