Abdel Jalil: Al-Ahly needs more than 5 new players next season

Mohamed Abdel Jalil, the former Al-Ahly star, confirmed that the red team suffers from a numerical shortage in some centers, which requires heavy-caliber deals and the inclusion of nearly 5 new players in the new season.

Abdel Jalil said, during televised statements, that there was a failure by Al-Ahly and the Football Association in the CAF Champions League final stadium, stressing that without this failure, the African Union would not have taken a decision to assign the organization of the final match to the State of Morocco.

Abdel Jalil added that Al-Ahly is able to win against Wydad in Morocco, and return to Cairo in the African Cup for the third time in a row.

Al-Ahly club succeeded in qualifying for the final of the African Champions League for the 15th time in its history, after beating Algeria’s ES Setif 6/2 in the aggregate of the semi-final matches, and for the third time in a row.
