3 Misr Informatics University agreements with major international universities

Misr Informatics University targets; To achieve the highest standards of teaching, learning and scientific research by concluding cooperation partnerships with reputable international universities with a high global ranking, and for this purpose, two partnership agreements were signed with Purdue University West Lafayette, which ranks fourth in engineering according to US News and thirty-sixth globally as the best university education In the US News rankings in 2022. In addition, the Executive Board of the Egypt Informatics University is under intense negotiations to sign similar agreements to grant a double degree to each program offered by the university through its four faculties, and the university has also signed an agreement with the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, which ranks twenty-ninth in science The computer is rated U. Misr Information University has concluded 3 agreements with Purdue University, West Lafayette and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as follows:

First Agreement:

Agreement for a Dual Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Minnesota College of Computer Science – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

The agreement is a model of a double certificate based on the credit transfer so that successful students who meet the requirements can obtain two certificates: a certificate from Egypt Informatics University and a certificate from the University of Minnesota, and the agreement works as follows:

– The student completes the first years of study (the years before the last year) at the Misr Informatics University, during this period the student studies from 1 to 4 integrated courses offered by the University of Minnesota via the Internet and taught by specialized professors from faculty members at the University of Minnesota and with the participation of a faculty member from Misr Informatics University, according to the study plan agreed upon by the two parties.

Second Agreement:

Dual Bachelor’s degree agreement with Purdue University College of Engineering – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, as well as double Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

The agreement is a model of a double degree where the credit conversion is used so that successful students who meet the requirements can obtain two certificates: a certificate from Misr Informatics University and a certificate from Purdue West Lafayette University, and the student completes the first years of studies (pre-final years) at Misr Informatics University, During this period, students study 4 online courses offered by Purdue University, taught by specialized professors from Purdue University faculty and with the participation of a faculty member from Egypt Informatics University, according to the mutually agreed study plan.

The student transfers to Purdue University West Lafayette in the United States of America to spend the final academic year there, Misr Informatics University works to ensure that its degrees are closely aligned with those of the partner university in terms of depth, breadth and rigor, students must meet the following academic criteria to be accepted into Purdue West University Lafayette by obtaining a CGPA in Misr Informatics University subjects of at least 3.0 (not including PDU combined course grades)

Third Agreement:

An agreement for a student at Misr Informatics University to obtain a professional master’s degree in information security from the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University-West Lafayette, which ranks sixth in electronic security according to the U.S. classification. News in 2021.

The agreement applies to the student of Misr Informatics who studies at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences or the Faculty of Engineering, majoring in computer engineering, and who fulfills the admission requirements for Purdue West Lafayette University. Electronic security.
